JINGHUI LIU

President, John Deere China

Jinghui Liu is President of John Deere China starting from Sep 2012. In this role, he has oversight of John Deere's business activities in China and is responsible for the long-term success and profitability of John Deere China.

Jinghui joined Deere & Company Headquarters in 1998 as Project Manager, Overseas Division, and was relocated to Xinjiang, China as General Manager from July 1999 through June 2000. After that he was appointed as Senior Marketing Manager of John Deere Jialian Combine Harvester Co., Ltd in Jiamusi, China in June 2000 and then General Manager in June 2001 in the same capacity, and General Manager in John Deere Tiantuo Company Ltd from June 2005 to January 2006. In November 2003 he was assigned as General Manager, China Marketing in Beijing, China till Jul 2008. After that Jinghui accepted an expatriate assignment at the Lenexa Agricultural Marketing Center to undertake a variety of senior level assignments within the North American Marketing organization. In Jul 2009, he returned to John Deere China Operations as Director, Sales and Marketing China. Then he holds the position as Director, Sales and Marketing China, with full responsibilities for sales, marketing, channel development, aftermarket support and profit maximization of all products, both JV products and imported products for three years.

Jinghui graduated from Tsinghua University with Bachelor Degree in Thermal Engineering in July 1984, and got Master Degree in Automotive Engineering in July 1987. In June 1999, he was granted Master of Business Administration degree at J. L. Kllogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
